Our top-of-the-line water filter, The Wellness Filter is designed to deliver the purest and most natural-tasting water available anywhere. The first stages of filtration—volcanic sand,
KDF and carbon block—eliminate bad taste, odors and harmful contaminants, including chlorine, chloramines, trihalomethanes (formed when chlorine interacts with organic matter), chemicals, pesticides, parasites, most bacteria, lead, mercury and other heavy metals, and dirt and sediment. (
Note: The use of sand, KDF and carbon varies in different Wellness products; please see individual items for specifics.)
But what really makes the Wellness special is that it actually revitalizes and microclusters--breaks down the water into smaller molecules, increasing its absorption into your body. Water goes through five types of natural enhancing media—high-Gauss ceramic magnets; magnetite (a naturally magnetized stone); Tenko-seki, a far-infrared ceramic that releases negative ions into the water for an antioxidant effect; Bakuhan stone, a rare mineral used in Japan for various conditions, including arthritis and digestive problems; and Taicho, another rare mineral with antibacterial and antifungal properties. What comes out of the filter is energized water with a high redox (antioxidant) potential. The Wellness can also prevent the unsightly and annoying scaling associated with hard water.
