Natren Megadophilus, Dairy Capsules

Megadophilus is Natren's lactobacillus acidophilus bacteria using the well-researched DDS-1 (for dairy version) and NAS (for non-dairy version) "super strains." This friendly bacteria resides along the wall of the small intestine. It aids in the digestion of nutrients and helps digest dairy products. Acidophilus is also a resident beneficial bacteria in the oral cavity, vaginal tract, and part of the urinary system. Two sizes: 60 or 90 capsules. Ingredients: Lactobacillus acidophilus, 2 billion cfu per capsule; Vitamin C, 20 mg.; nonfat milk, whey, dehydrated potato powder, cellulose powder, hydroxypropyl methylcellullose. Note: Dairy is used because it is an efficient growth medium for beneficial bacteria. If you do not eat dairy, a dairy-free version is available.
