Healthy Trinity® capsules (our most popular Natren formulation) contain all three of the most potent "super strains" of beneficial bacteria required for a healthy digestive tract: lactobacillus acidophilus, bifidobacterium bifidum, and lactobacillus bulgaricus. Acidophilus, which lives in the small intestine, aids in the digestion of nutrients, processes carbohydrates, and helps minimize yeast overgrowth while optimizing detoxification of the gastrointestinal tract. Bifidum, which resides in the large intestine, discourages harmful bacteria and yeast from multiplying by taking away their homes along the intestinal wall. Bifido also produces formic, lactic and acetic acids, which help defend the body from bacterial invasions. Bulgaricus bacteria helps the body digest carbohydrates and protein, as well as other substances that help improve the absorption of required minerals. It also produces lactase, the enzyme that breaks down lactose (from dairy products) in our digestive tracts. Natren's proprietary system delivers all these friendly bacteria in a "micro-enabled" form to protect them from interfering with each other. Two sizes: 30 or 90 dairy-free caps.
