1" x .250" Neodymium Round "Super Magnet" in Plastic Case

Neodymium is a rare earth element that is extremely powerful. These are the strongest magnets used for biomagnetic purposes--3 to 4 times more powerful than comparable sizes in ceramics. This magnet measures 1" in diameter and .250" (one-quarter inch) thick, with an average Gauss rating of approximately 12,000 to 16,000. It is enclosed in a permanent hard-plastic case to prevent breakage and chipping. Labels indicate North and South poles. This is one of our strongest neodymium magnets and should be used for situations where maximum energy is needed.
