About Water Corrosion

The Corrosion Check is a stand-alone test for households. Corrosion is a natural process that occurs when metals react with oxygen and form metal oxides. All water contains some dissolved oxygen and is therefore somewhat corrosive. The rate of corrosion depends on many factors, including the water’s pH, electrical conductivity, oxygen concentration, and temperature.

If you are concerned about this problem and want to test for it, you have two ways to do it. You can buy the regular Watercheck Test, which includes the data you need, and then go to this Website and plug in the required values from the Watercheck test results. Or, you can order the Watercheck Corrosion Test kit.
