This hand-held light therapy unit has 38 diodes: 18 infrared, which stimulates deep tissue; 10 red, for tissues and cells closer to the surface; two green, designed to support the bio-electromagnetic field that surrounds the body; four orange, which helps relieve muscle hypertonicity (tension); and four yellow, to activate the lymph and stimulate the sensory and motor nervous system. The combined effects are useful for soft tissue injuries, arthritis and other joint problems; and for reducing pain.
