Aquaspace Whole-House Filters

The Aquaspace whole-house filters offer excellent filtration at reasonable cost. All units contain the company’s patented Aquaspace compound (adapted from NASA technology) with specially treated carbons, removing bad taste, chlorine, lead and other heavy metals, pesticides, dirt and sediment. Filters are available in three models for homes of different sizes; each one has a second optional fluoride-removing unit that can also work as a stand-alone filter. (Note that the fluoride units are fluoride only; if you want regular filtration plus fluoride, you need to purchase two filters.) Larger models come with either a 3/4" or 1" pipe fitting. Professional installation required. Models are listed below.

Polaris III: Fits ¾” incoming water line; suitable for homes with up to 1 1/2 bathrooms. Contains 28 pounds of filtration media. Filter lasts for 350,000 gallons, or 12–18 months, whichever comes first. Straight in/out valve with 5-micron prefilter. Flow rate up to 5 GPM. Tank measures 8”D x 44”H; overall height 48".
Polaris III-F: Fluoride reduction filter. Fits ¾” incoming water line and suitable for homes with up to 1 1/2 bathrooms. Contains 22 pounds of fluoride-reduction filtration. Filter lasts for 100,000 gallons or 6–9 months, whichever comes first. Straight in/out valve with 5-micron prefilter. Flow rate up to 5 GPM. Tank measures 8”D x 44”H; overall height 48".
Polaris IV: Available with pipe fittings for ¾” or 1” incoming water lines (specify when ordering) and suitable for homes with up to 3½ bathrooms. Contains 38 pounds of filtration media. Filter lasts for 400,000 gallons or 12–18 months, whichever comes first. Flow rate up to 8 GPM. Choose automatic backwash or straight in/out valve with 5-micron prefilter. Tank measures 9”D x 48”H; overall height 56".
Polaris IV-F: Fluoride reduction filter. Available with pipe fittings for ¾” or 1” incoming water lines (specify when ordering); suitable for homes with up to 3½ bathrooms. Contains 30 pounds of fluoride-reduction filtration. Filter lasts for 120,000 gallons or 6–9 months, whichever comes first. Choose automatic backwash or straight in/out valve with 5-micron prefilter. Flow rate up to 8 GPM. Tank measures 9”D x 48”H; overall height 56".
