Airpura UV600 Air Filter

The Airpura UV600 is designed for those who want a HEPA filter combined with germicidal protection. HEPA (high-efficiency particulate arresting) material filters 99.7% of particles as small as .3 microns. This unit’s 18 pounds of activated carbon, 40 square feet of HEPA, and a pre-filter work together to handle particulates, chemicals, gasses and odors, while the 20-watt ultraviolet bulb sterilizes microbes (bacteria and viruses). Many other HEPA-UV combos place the lamp away from the filters, which means that microbes can escape into the air. Airpura’s bulb is inside the filter chamber, so micro-organisms are killed quickly. Airpura draws air from all four sides but sends the filtered air out of only one side so you won’t be bothered by drafts.

This unit cleans up to 2,000 square feet. Features variable speed control and UV light on/off switch; comes on casters for easy movement. Attractive round design.
